How does the banking industry prepare its employees for the future? In addition to internal training, it develops their knowledge and skills via seminars, schools, and certificate programs offered by the Connecticut Bankers Association ("CBA") and Center for Financial Training ("CFT").
The CBA sponsored Connecticut School of Finance and Management ("CSFM") is a popular program used by Connecticut's banks to help develop their management team of the future. This two-year management development program, instructed at the undergraduate level, has a curriculum designed to provide an opportunity for junior management personnel to obtain a more comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry. Applications for the CSFM Class of 2019 are due by June 23, 2017.
